The fires in Hawaii are the deadliest in U.S. history in the past 100 years. So far at least 111 people have died and over 1,000 remain missing. The fires destroyed over 2,200 buildings. The cost to rebuild is projected to be over $6 billion. The Chicagoland Helps Hawaii Food Drive hopes to raise at least $10,000 and send multiple shipping containers helping the residents of Hawaii cope with this devastating loss. The campaign is organized by local Chicagoland insurance agents and Romexterra Restoration, a company that has been helping Chicagoans rebuild after flood, fire, and mold events since 2003.
